My PhD thesis was about the nature and timing of the biotic recovery after the end-Permian mass extinction. I am working with conodonts from the Smithian/Spathian boundary interval, the largest crisis in terms of pelagic animals during the Early Triassic. I am also interested in the macroevolutionary patterns of conodonts, in particular during the Early Triassic.
