My research is focused on the evolutionary patterns of aquatic mammals from South America. Asside projects, I am also interested other groups of mammals as rodents, primates; but also other marine fauna as sharks, birds and fishes. Despite not directly working on these groups, I am interested to see their ecological role and how do these compliment with my current research. I am currently leading research with two groups of toothed cetaceans from the Miocene in fully independent projects: pygmy sperm whales (Kogiidae) and relatives of extant Ganges river dolphin (Platanistidae). Please, check my publications to see our research output or our projects in ResearchGate, where the latest updates on my ongoing projects are shared. LinkTree: |
